Referral Program Policy

1. Program Overview

The Cherrypop Referral Program allows users to earn rewards by inviting friends, followers, and other creators to join our platform. This policy outlines the terms and conditions governing the referral program.

By participating in the referral program, you agree to these terms in addition to our general Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

To participate in the referral program, you must:

• Have an active Cherrypop account in good standing
• Be at least 18 years old
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not engage in fraudulent or abusive referral practices

Cherrypop reserves the right to disqualify participants who violate these eligibility requirements or engage in prohibited activities.

3. How It Works

The referral process works as follows:

• Access your unique referral link from your account dashboard
• Share your referral link with friends, followers, or through social media
• When someone signs up using your link and completes qualifying actions, you earn rewards
• Track your referrals and earnings in real-time through your dashboard

A "qualifying referral" occurs when a new user signs up using your referral link and completes the specified requirements (such as making their first transaction or becoming a verified creator).

4. Rewards Structure

Current referral rewards are structured as follows:

4.1 Creator Referrals

• Earn $50 for each creator who signs up and completes 5 transactions
• Earn 5% of Cherrypop's platform fees from your referred creators for their first 12 months
• Bonus: $500 when a referred creator reaches $10,000 in total earnings

4.2 Fan Referrals

• Earn $10 for each fan who signs up and completes their first purchase
• Earn $5 credit for your referred fan to use on their first request

Reward amounts and structures are subject to change. We will notify participants of any changes with 30 days' advance notice.

5. Reward Payouts

Referral rewards are paid out according to the following schedule:

• Rewards are credited to your Cherrypop account within 30 days of qualifying
• Cash rewards can be withdrawn to your connected payout method
• Account credits can be used immediately for purchases on the platform
• Minimum withdrawal amount: $25

All rewards are subject to verification and may be withheld if fraud or policy violations are suspected.

6. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Creating multiple accounts to self-refer
• Using fake email addresses or identities
• Spamming referral links through unsolicited emails or messages
• Purchasing advertising using your referral link without authorization
• Offering monetary incentives to sign up (outside of platform-provided credits)
• Posting referral links on coupon sites or deal aggregators without permission
• Any activity that violates our Terms of Service or applicable laws

Violation of these prohibitions may result in disqualification from the program, forfeiture of rewards, and potential account suspension or termination.

7. Referral Tracking

Referrals are tracked using unique referral codes and cookies. To ensure proper tracking:

• Users must sign up using your unique referral link
• Cookies must be enabled in the user's browser
• The referral link must be the last link clicked before signup
• Referrals are attributed for 30 days after the initial link click

Cherrypop is not responsible for referrals that cannot be tracked due to technical issues, cookie blocking, or other factors outside our control.

8. Program Changes and Termination

Cherrypop reserves the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time
• Change reward amounts, structures, or qualification criteria
• Disqualify participants who violate these terms
• Withhold or revoke rewards obtained through fraudulent means

We will provide reasonable notice of material changes to the program, but reserve the right to make immediate changes to address abuse or legal requirements.

9. Tax Implications

Referral rewards may be considered taxable income in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes on rewards earned through the program.

Cherrypop will provide tax documentation (such as Form 1099 for US participants) when required by law for participants who earn $600 or more in rewards during a calendar year.

10. Limitation of Liability

Cherrypop is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your participation in the referral program. Our total liability for any claim related to the program shall not exceed the total rewards you have earned in the 12 months preceding the claim.
