Payout Policy

1. Overview

This Payout Policy explains how and when creators on Cherrypop receive payments for fulfilled requests. By using our platform as a creator, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

Cherrypop is committed to ensuring timely and secure payouts to our creators while maintaining the trust and safety of our platform for all users.

2. Platform Fees

Cherrypop charges a platform fee on all transactions to cover operational costs, payment processing, and platform maintenance. The current fee structure is as follows:

• Platform fee: 10% of the transaction amount
• Payment processing fee: approximately 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction

These fees are deducted automatically from the total transaction amount before payout to the creator. For example, on a $100 request, the creator would receive approximately $87 after fees.

3. Payout Schedule

Payouts are processed according to the following schedule:

• Standard Payouts: Available 7 days after request completion
• Instant Payouts: Available immediately for eligible creators (fees may apply)
• Scheduled Payouts: Weekly or monthly, depending on your preference

The 7-day holding period allows time for any disputes to be raised and resolved before funds are released. Once the holding period expires and no disputes are pending, funds become available for withdrawal.

4. Payout Methods

Cherrypop supports the following payout methods:

• Bank Transfer (ACH): Direct deposit to your bank account (US only)
• Wire Transfer: Available for international creators (fees apply)
• PayPal: Transfer to your PayPal account
• Stripe Connect: Direct integration with your Stripe account

You must set up at least one payout method in your account settings before receiving payments. Processing times vary by method but typically range from 1-5 business days.

5. Minimum Payout Thresholds

To minimize processing costs and environmental impact, we maintain the following minimum payout thresholds:

• Bank Transfer: $25 minimum
• Wire Transfer: $100 minimum
• PayPal: $10 minimum
• Stripe Connect: $1 minimum

If your available balance is below the minimum threshold for your selected payout method, the funds will remain in your account until the threshold is met.

6. Currency and Conversion

All transactions on Cherrypop are processed in USD (United States Dollars). If you receive payouts in a different currency, conversion will be handled by your chosen payout provider at their current exchange rates.

Cherrypop is not responsible for currency conversion fees or exchange rate fluctuations. These are determined by your financial institution or payment provider.

7. Tax Obligations

As a creator on Cherrypop, you are responsible for reporting and paying all applicable taxes on your earnings. This includes:

• Income tax on your total earnings
• Self-employment tax (if applicable)
• Sales tax or VAT (depending on your jurisdiction)

Cherrypop will provide tax documentation (such as Form 1099 for US creators) when required by law. You will receive these documents by January 31st for the previous calendar year.

We recommend consulting with a tax professional to ensure compliance with your local tax laws and regulations.

8. Refunds and Chargebacks

In the event of a refund or chargeback, the amount will be deducted from your available balance or future earnings. If your balance is insufficient to cover the refund, we may:

• Withhold future earnings until the balance is restored
• Charge your connected payment method (if authorized)
• Suspend your account until the matter is resolved

We strongly encourage creators to work with fans to resolve issues before they escalate to chargebacks, as excessive chargebacks may result in account restrictions.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

If your account is suspended or terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service or Content Guidelines:

• Pending payouts will be held until the investigation is complete
• If terminated for cause, pending earnings may be forfeited
• Available balances will be paid out according to the standard schedule
• We reserve the right to withhold funds if fraudulent activity is suspected

10. Fee Changes

Cherrypop reserves the right to modify platform fees with 30 days' advance notice. Any changes will be communicated via email and posted on our website. Continued use of the platform after fee changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new fee structure.
